The Year of Thankful Living: Day 6

Today I’m thankful for my one of my best friends, Courtney.

I met her during my freshman year of college and we were pretty tight ever since. She was one of the first people that I had a true connection with when I came back to the States. She was so hospitable and friendly, and I miss her dearly. She left near the end of her first semester there because she couldn’t afford it, but we’ve stayed in touch ever since.

I will say that we don’t talk as often as we’d like to. Life gets busy and things get in the way. But thankfully, Courtney is one of those people that I can talk to for the first time in months, and it would seem like we were never apart. She one ofย those friends.

Courtney introduced me to a ton of things while we were together. Though they weren’t all positive, I can say that I wouldn’t be where I am now if it weren’t for her. I’d like to think that things are the way they are because she entered my life, and things definitely wouldn’t be the same without her. I love that girl. ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, today I found out that I’m gonna be a bridesmaid in her wedding next year! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. That’s really cool that you two still keep in touch. I hope when I go to college I still keep in touch with my best friend. Because my friends are everything to me too
