The Year of Thankful Living: Day 14

Today was kind of a rough one for me, I’m not even gonna lie. It started off pretty well but I ended up having a bit of a pit and it sucked. However, I did realize that there was something that I could be thankful for today.

My mom’s laptop screen has blacked out on us in the past week, and since my mom would kill us she doesn’t know and I don’t have the money to get it fixed. Anywho, for this reason, we haven’t had much internet access beyond my phone (I don’t have a smartphone, by the way!) in the past week, which is why my blogging has been so sporadic lately.

In this, I’ve kinda realized how I personally have been so dependent on technology (Google is my personal butler) that I can’t even go through some everyday tasks without relying a bit on it, when in reality it’s not necessary.

I’ve been lazy, in a sense.

With this simple lack, it’s helped me to think things through and jog my brain a little bit more than I usually do, thus making me a more efficient person. So therefore, I’m thankful for some extent of technology failure. I hope I don’t jinx this by any means; I’m knocking on wood.

Let’s rely on brainpower a little bit more.
